Our Story
It all started with a childhood friendship, when David and Ivan used to go fishing every day until it became a hobby. With more than 15 years of knowing each other and many experiences in fishing, David and Ivan saw a great business opportunity in tourism and recreational fishing in Puerto Rico.
Today, after 6 years of entrepreneurship, several hurricanes and other difficulties that arose along the way, they are sure that they have a special, different service with much to offer in terms of tarpon fishing and adventures on the Island.
Meet the Crew
-
Capt. David Báez
CAPTAIN, PARTNER + FOUNDER
David started his love of fishing at a young age, as he used to go fishing near the rivers and streams around his home in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At the age of 13 he began kayaking and tube fishing in the urban waters of the San José and Torrecillas lagoons along with some of his best friends who are also renowned tarpon guides. This experience took him to a new level and he became increasingly interested in becoming a fishing guide. Since then he has been guiding for more than 15 years for different recognized companies. Captain David is well known for his hard work on the tarpon grounds. He will use all his knowledge and experience to locate the fish and position the boat so that his anglers get the perfect shot at the fish every time.

Iván Soto
BUSINESS PARTNER + FOUNDER
After finishing his studies in business administration and marketing, and having several years of fishing adventures with his childhood friend and now partner, Iván saw the opportunity to bring both disciplines together. He is currently in charge of the administrative part of the company and since then he has managed to keep it on the water.
”Being able to spend time in nature and explore new bodies of water has always been one of the best adventures that fishing has given me since I was a teenager.”
